Tier Drop R.V. Park is family owned and operated. We are located in a farming community in the Town of Wellton, Arizona. There are unlimited things to do if you have time to do them. For sport, the Town of Wellton has two 18-hole golf courses and there are areas to walk or bike nearby. Shuffleboard play is organized weekly. Organized golf play is every Wednesday. Horseshoe contests occur daily. Excersize classes are offered daily, either in the pool or recreation hall. We host evening card games, dominoes and fun bingo play. There are dances to 50’s and Country and Western music. There are weekly non-denominational church services and bible study. A ladies sewing and craft group meets on Mondays. We have monthly breakfasts and holiday potlucks. Plus a host of special events such as our annual float entry in the Pioneer parade, an annual dog parade in February, and participate in the local holiday festivities.
The local area includes the city of Yuma, Arizona, plus Los Algodones, B.C., just across the border in Mexico. Also includes Marine Corps Air Station, Barry M. Goldwater Testing Range, and a large area of desert land for hiking and riding. The Gila River flows through the valley and local water activities and fishing are available nearby. You may want to visit local museums and sites of interest in Yuma County and beyond.
